I ended up buying this board after doing a lot of shopping around. The first thing that I have to say is that the speed of the board is great for beginners. The fins provide ideal drag for people who are still learning to get up and stay up…like me. I don’t know if I’ll ever get good enough to want something faster, but for now I am happy. One thing that I hope they improve upon with the next model: the nose. If the nose curved upward a little bit more, like I have seen on many friends’ boards, then it could take a wider range of waves easier. I feel like this causes me to crash into some waves that my friends are able to catch much easier. Just a thought, but overall I am glad I snagged this one.

I’ve ridden this board a few times, and I think it’s worth mentioning that it rocks a lot more than other mini longboards. You really do have to have good balance, especially in your heels, to stay up. But other people haven’t really said anything so maybe it’s just me.

I am absolutely in love with my longboard! I have taken this out more than a few times, and it is so fun that I almost don’t mind the cold Caramel water. For those of you who are interested in the details, this board does me very well in waves that are less than about 4’ tall. After that it gets pretty tricky and I would recommend a longer board. It paddles well and glides super easy though. This is the first board I have owned and I couldn’t be happier.
